We have the right to contact you when you have
left an item in your shopping cart as a reminder that you have the item in
your cart.
Contract
A contract of sale of goods will only come into effect
once an order is executed by shipping the items.
It is solely the responsibility of the customer to
provide accurate information in relation to the order, address, payment
and delivery instructions. Melworks will not be responsible for any delay,
damage or non execution of the order if incorrect or misleading
information is provided.
Prices
All prices are GST inclusive for Australian residents
only. All international customers are exempt from this goods and services
taxes. The systems is configured to automatically check for a user home
country and apply GST or exempt GST.
All prices stated on this website, catalogue,
newsletter or any other communication can change without any notice.
During check out a break down of item price, GST (if
applicable) and shipping cost will be provided.
The Customer shall be liable for any reasonable costs
incurred by the Company in the event of variation or suspension of any
order by the Customer.
Terms of Payment
Currently only registered user can purchase from the
website.
Acceptable methods of payment are direct bank deposit
(available during check out process), PayPal, Paymate, Bank Cheque and
Money orders.
All major credit cards are welcomed but can only be
accepted via PayPal or Paymate.
Personal Cheques are not accepted.
Delivery
We will exclusively use Australia Post for local and
international deliveries. For express deliveries we shall use EMS but will
use any other courier if such a request is made.
Currently postage to your country will be calculated automatically during the check out process. This charge covers the cost of actual regular postage via Australia Post and packaging.
All international deliveries will be charged
differently depending on the location. Charges/tariff table is available
from Australia Post and can
be provided upon request.
Melworks strongly recommends registered mail as we
shall not be responsible for the loss of parcel if the parcel is not
registered.
All deliveries are guaranteed to be despatched within
24 hours of receiving an order notice/confirmation. This usually means all
orders are delivered to your doorstep within a week (only in Australia).
Local custom or tariff duties are the sole
responsibility of the buyer in accordance with local laws.
Cancellation
No order can be cancelled once it has been paid (prior
approval is required). A 10% cancellation fee may be applied.
Under no circumstances an order can be cancelled once
it has been shipped.
We do reserve the right to cancel any order in the cart
if not paid within 7 days without any notice.
Return Policy
Those products will not be Refunded, Exchanged or
Returned for which the customer is refusing to pay the Tax, Customs Duty,
Tarrif etc.
An order can only be returned if it is found to have a
defect or damage. All such instances must be reported within 7 days of
shipping in Australia and 14 days of shipping to all international
destinations.
All unwanted but good conditions order can be returned
but will incur a 15% re-stocking fee. Buyer is also responsible for all
other expenses incurred in conjunction with the return (postage and any
other reasonable expenses incurred by Melworks).
