are also known as Sri Nagar beads or Lac beads and come from
the Kashmir region.
Kashmiri beads are all crafted individually by a handful of artisans using a
tedious and time consuming
process of placing seed beads and metal wiring on a clay base using adhesives.
Each bead retains it uniqueness and artistic impression and could be used as a
focal bead in any jewellery
project.
