Millifori, thousand flowers or "many flowers" glass beads have beautiful roses
across the opposite sides and are ideal for use in making earrings, Bracelets and Neclaces. A technique where murrine rods are heated in a furnace and fused to produce the millefiori distinctive effect. The process is often labour intensive as all the patterns, often floral, are handmade. Millefiori beads technique was developed in 15th century Murano, Italy and shares its origins and partial technique with murano beads, Lampwork beads, chevron beads and rosetta beads.
